About the event

This session offers an opportunity to slow down and move the body with gratitude and kindness.

Mindful yoga is open to individuals at any level of yoga or meditation practice and offers some time to meet ourselves with compassion. We will move the body gently, and then rest deeply.

What to expect

These sessions with Linda are geared towards both introducing and deepening mindfulness practice and cultivating compassion for self.

In this day and age of busyness and distraction, taking time out with ourselves to notice, restore, release, and renew is the remedy. This time is an opportunity to reconnect with the body and with what is important, the gift of the present moment.

About Linda

Linda, a Counselling Psychologist, Hypnotherapist, and Yoga Teacher based in Cape Town, South Africa, is a founding partner and co-creator of the Inara platform. Her deep commitment to mindfulness-based interventions led to certification from the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre, and she has applied her expertise in various settings, including corporate workshops and community-based interventions. As a lecturer of the executive MBA program at the Graduate School of Business in Cape Town, Linda fosters compassion, non-violence, and collaboration in the workplace, positively impacting leaders and organizations. Her Ph.D. delved into "Applications, Understandings, and Perceived Impact of Mindfulness in the organizational context," exploring how mindfulness training addresses greed, hatred, and delusion. Linda's passions lie in yoga, meditation, and yoga nidra, emphasizing the value of slowing down and embracing rest. She has practiced and taught Kundalini yoga and Mindful yoga for over 25 years. She is deeply committed to the pathway of Kundalini yoga as a pathway to transformation and deep healing. Trained as a Daring to Rest facilitator, she also shares the ancient and healing practice of yoga nidra, supporting transformative growth and inner peace.
